| The “BLUE EYES” is a
50 foot custom built Rawson Hull powered by twin John Deere diesels.
The Blue Eyes' professional and experienced
crew is U.S. Coast Guard licensed to take 22 anglers out for a day
on the ocean.
Captain Rick Schmidt has several years experience in the sport
fishing industry. He dutifully started out as a deck hand with
both Islander and Salmon Charters in the eighties. His zeal for
fishing has continued throughout the years resulting in the purchase
of The Blue Eyes in 2005. His vessel is sleek, comfortable and
well laid out for deep sea fishing.
The Blue Eyes offers all types of
fishing from Rockfish and Ling Cod to Halibut and Salmon. Exciting
Whale watching trips are also in the offering in the early Spring.
